What counts as a farmhouse Christmas find?
In our home, I primarily like to use items that are truly vintage. A collection of vintage Christmas treasures certainly takes time to curate over the years, but it’s always so meaningful to unbox those items each holiday season. These are heirloom pieces that you can pass down through the generations of your family!
You can even use more practical and everyday vintage items that might not be specifically “Christmas”, but still evoke feelings of the season. For example, an old red lantern, a vintage crock filled with trimmings of pine and cedar, or stacks of books with red or green spines.

I also love to incorporate unique handmade items from small shop owners. It’s especially delightful to find makers who create their items with vintage materials. My sister, Kim, is one of those makers! She crafts gorgeous pillows from vintage linens and brings new life to forgotten fabrics. We have several of her gorgeous pillows around our home, and each one she makes is 100% unique! {Check out Kim’s shop HERE}
